CLIMATIZING SYSTEM FOR CURTAIN-WALL BUILDINGS

Energyskin is a climatizing system for curtain-wall buildings (aluminium or glass-aluminium), which allows designing low-energy buildings without impairing the thickness of the walls or their appearance.

The Energyskin system uses a heat pump which picks up the energy from the curtain wall (mainly that lost by the building) and "pumps" it at a suitable temperature into the building.

Such technology allows appreciable energy saving at favourable costs and without loss in volume; it also represents an interesting alternative to geothermal heat pumps which are not very suitable, especially in tall buildings.
