Zero Emission Rome 2010

Highly positive results for the 2010 edition of ZEROEMISSION ROME, the event dedicated to renewable energies, environmental sustainability, the fight against climate changes and emission trading, which was attended by more than 500 companies from 31 countries, representing four continents, and by 27,200 visitors.

ZEROEMISSION ROME's winning formula is that of being able to bring together the B2B exhibition area – with the participation of market leaders – with a qualified schedule of conferences, training courses, workshops, meetings and debates aimed at professional development, comparison and training. In particular, in 2010 68 conference sessions were held with 403 international speakers, who dealt in-depth with topics such as wind energy; the reduction, capture and storage of CO2; photovoltaics; concentrated solar energy; geothermal energy; sustainable building; energy independence for Italy's smaller islands; Italian climate policy; green cities and electric vehicles; and the passive house.

The appointment with the next edition of ZEROEMISSION ROME is from 14 to 16 September 2011, at the Fiera Roma exhibition grounds, with the following theme halls: EOLICA EXPO MEDITERRANEAN (wind energy), CO2 EXPO (the carbon credit market), PV ROME MEDITERRANEAN (photovoltaic technologies), and SOLARTECH (concentrated solar power and solar thermal energy).
